Did you intentionaly make your talks shorter so the meeting would end quick
by IreallydidwalkoutofaKH ini think the school works differently now, but when i was a kid, a #2 talk was 5 minutes and i would give it in about 3 minutes...why did the meeting still end at 9:15!
ps.........do you remember when those tms meeting were 2 hours??????

When I was living in Florida, the book study conductor once stopped the study 15 minutes ahead of time and then said "I'm sure we can all think of better things to do".

What happened to the simplicity of the early church?

This is a nice topic to discuss and so timely. Pahpa had some really nice points, as well as others. It is one of the reasons why we started our house church, to help former Jehovah's Witnesses as well as others who just want to get together and discuss simple Christianity. We meet every other Sunday and after a Bible sermon where everyone is encouraged to comment, we get together and have coffee and refreshments. it is an article that supposedly reads that the punishment to a df'd person goes so far as to 'include hatred' of such persons-not just their behavior.

I can't scan the article but, it does,in fact, say to "hate"the person. If you have really appreciated the JWD forum, by all means come on the conference call this Saturday August 16 and talk about it. Maybe you have met some good friends, maybe something on the board has changed your life, JWD in so many ways allowed us all to have our "15 minutes of fame". It sure will be missed.
